So I thought I would start the morning out by putting my running goals down on the blog for all to see and encourage. Some I have already met, others will be addressed in the Fall.
1) 5K Goal: Break 24 minutes: Accomplished at the 2012 Expedition Everest Challenge with a 22:30
2) Break 2 hours in half marathon: I have 3 chances this Fall to do this, current PR is 2:06 at the 2011 Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon
3) Run 3 Half Marathons: Already booked for three:
(1) Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon – Nov. 2012
(2) Kiawah Island Half Marathon – Dec. 2012
(3) WDW Half Marathon – Jan. 2013
(4) Break 4 hours in marathon: This will be attempted during the WDW 20th Anniversary Marathon in January; however, we are doing the Goofy, so we’ll just have to see how things go.
