I thought today I would review a product I have now been trying since December. I am going to review the Currex Insoles. Because of my high arches, I have to have inserts in my running shoes. For the last year, I have been using the PowerSteps inserts; however, when I got new running shoes in December, a month before the Walt Disney World Marathon Goofy Challenge, my local store where I get my inserts, The Foot Shop, did not have the PowerSteps. Now I am a creature of habit, and once I find something I like, I tend not to change. However, Carolyn the owner convinced me to try them, so I did.
I did about 4 training runs on them, and loved them. They fit snug to my feet, and did not cause any discomfort. However, these training runs were 5 miles or less. In January, I did the Disney Goofy which is a half marathon on Saturday, and a full marathon on Sunday. I used the Currex insoles in two different pairs of running shoes, and they worked great for the full 39.3 miles. To date, I have logged about 200 miles on these insoles and really love them.
I would highly recommend them if you know you need inserts, or if you are having arch, knee, shin, or hip issues, you may want to look in to them to see if they can help.
I am not affiliated in any way with the Foot Store or Currex Insoles. I am just a consumer of the product, and thought I would provide my review of a product that has not been on the market but for a short period of time.
