UPDATE: Dash has been adopted
I know this is my running blog, but my wife and I have took on another venture of helping a friend rescue and foster dogs & cats from high kill shelters and try to find homes for them. For our first attempt at this we got a foster dog named Dash, and he has turned out to be a real winner! He is a compact 38 pound, 1 year old German Shepherd mixed with a smaller breed dog like a Corgi, Pug, or Beagle size. He looks and acts like a German Shepherd in a compact size! He probably will not get much bigger than he is now, so could be great for indoors. We have had him since last Thursday (2/28), and he does great with our two dogs. He loves going outside in our big fenced in area where he can run and play with our bigger dogs. He is crate trained, knows his name, is learning basic commands, and just so loveable. He is up to date on all vet visits & shots. He has also already been neutered. We are seeking a $125 adoption fee to offset the vet visits. Please email morningstar31@rocketmail.com or call Tara at (843) 270-2348 for more info.
If you want to visit him, email me at doombuggyrunner at gmail dot com or Tara at the contact info above!
Here is the link on PetFinders should you be interested in the adoption information. We want to find him a home soon, so we can save another, and we are starting to get attached to him!
We live in an apartment and can’t really have pets, but I hope he finds a home soon :). He looks like he’d make a great new family member for someone lucky out there!
He’s such a cutie! I hope you find a good home for him soon!
We had a mom & son visit him on Thursday. It looks promising, we just have to do a site visit and reference check. Hopefully it all works out.
