This week was half marathon week. I ran the Palmetto Bluff Half Marathon on Sunday, March 10th. I will do a separate race recap in another post.
Now on to the weekly workout recap for Week 10.
This has been a rough week. I got a pulled muscle in one of my legs on Monday, and so this limited my workout activities this week. I did not get in any training runs on Tuesday or Thursday. As for Friday it is starting to feel better, so hopefully this will be a good sign for the half marathon on Sunday.
Saturday (3/9) – 4 Mile Treadmill Run
I did a small slow treadmill run this morning, since I had not run all week, to test out everything to make sure I was going to be good for the race tomorrow. It went good, so I should be alright tomorrow, may not PR but will be able to complete the race respectably.
Sunday (3/10) – Palmetto Bluff Half Marathon
I will do a race recap post on Sunday afternoon to recap the race in great detail.
