Yesterday, the medal for the North Carolina Half Marathon was released. I will be running this race in Charlotte, NC on March 24th. Being a NASCAR fan, I am looking forward to this race. As a part of the race, we will do a lap around the Charlotte Motor Speedway, and the drag strip nearby.
This race will go toward my 50 by 50 Challenge to run a half marathon in all 50 states before the age of 50.
I cannot wait to get this medal next weekend!

I’m not a NASCAR fan but that is an awesome medal. Great choice for an NC half, definitely one of the cooler medals I have seen.
