Tonight we went over to Mt. Pleasant to TrySports to participate in a 2.62 mile charity run/walk for the victims of the Boston Marathon. My wife and our dogs came out to participate as well. Edisto and I ran and Jennifer and Folly walked the course.
About 100 people from the community showed up to show support for the victims of the Boston Marathon tragedy. Today, all TrySports stores hosted a 2.62 Run/Walk for Boston. This event was open to everyone and a donation jar was be setup for everyone to make donations to the One Fund Boston.
TrySports also contributed to the One Fund Boston by donating 26.2% of all sales company wide on Monday 4/22/13.
If you could not attend the event but still want to donate, click on the One Fund Boston link, onefundboston.org.
Here are a few pictures from the start of the event.

The dogs were pretty wore out on the drive back home.
All the finishers received a sticker to commemorate the event.
Cristy Meadows was also out taking pictures and got these shot of us and the dogs.

Aww, thanks for taking my pic :). I love your dogs’ names too, what appropriate names for dogs here in CHS!
I thought the run went really well tonight and I enjoyed it, great way to meet a lot of new people and enjoy a run just for fun. Sometimes I don’t think we do nearly enough “fun runs” when we’re in the middle of training so this was really neat! Plus an awesome cause too!!
Thanks. That is what my wife said. We should do something like this once a month. Great time and tired pups!
Very cool. Your dogs look especially happy.
