Here is the second installment of our most recent Walt Disney World trip recap. On the second day of our trip (Friday, May 3rd), the weather was yet again rainy, so we decided to find something inside we could do. We started the day by heading over to Downtown Disney. We walked around there for an hour or so, having to go to The Lego Store (for my nephew, of course), and a few other stores.
We then had lunch at Wolfgang Puck Express. This is probably the second best counter service on Disney property behind Sunshine Seasons at The Land Pavilion at Epcot.
At about noon, we walked over and went to Disney Quest. This is a five story building of nothing but games and interactive simulators. We stayed here for about 3 hours. It was fun, but will probably not go there again in the future.
After we left DisneyQuest, we went back to the resort and then walked over to Epcot to take in the attractions and the Flower and Garden Festival. Here are some of the various pictures from the festival.
We did this until it was time for dinner. On this night we dined at the Garden Grill in The Land Pavilion. This is a really neat restaurant in that while dining the entire restaurant rotates giving you a constantly changing view. The scenery is part of the Living with the Land attraction which is located below. This is also a character dinner, with Mickey Mouse, Pluto, and Chip & Dale.
This restaurant serves all you can eat family style, which is awesome. Here are some pictures of the food.
After dinner, it started to pour rain again, so we headed back to the resort for the remainder of the evening.
