Monday (6/24): I did a circuit strength training routine, then an evening church softball game for the Championship, WHICH WE WON!
Tuesday (6/25): 4 Mile run on the gym treadmill
Wednesday (6/26): 40 minutes on the elliptical
Thursday (6/27): 4 mile walk on the treadmill
Friday (6/28): Rest
Saturday (6/29): On Saturday I ran 8 miles on the West Ashley Greenway with Tasha Ruth, and a long time friend, first time running together, Tara Bell! It was a awesome run.
Yearly Running Goal: 1000 Miles
Weekly Mileage: 16.09 Miles
Remaining to Goal: 569.77 Miles
Sounds like a great week of training :). We ran on the Greenway last night, the idiotic group run that Noah did, it was a lot of fun. Greenway is a great place to run.
The Greenway was really muddy yesterday. How’d y’all survive that?
We only went out a little past the paved part. Noah said the rule was run 25-30 minutes out and 25-30 back. The pavement ends at 3 miles, the guys I was with decided they wanted to run 7 and obviously I wasn’t going back alone so we did 7. Only .5 miles past the pavement, but fortunately we avoided the mud. I did see a few big puddles though… there was still some water out there.
My favorite part of the Saturday run was when Tasha said, “You don’t look old enough to have a 15 year old!” hahahaha! Thanks for having me. I enjoyed it.
