Well I have had a little hiatus from my weekly training b-logs the past few weeks. I worked out most of them, including my running, but just didn’t have time to blog. Primarily, because of all they pyrotechnics I’ve been doing. So here we go, I’m back with this week’s edition.
Monday (7/8): My wife and I walked our dogs for 1.7 miles
Tuesday (7/9): Ran 4 miles on the treadmill at the MUSC Wellness Center
Wednesday (7/10): My wife and I walked our dogs for 1.7 miles
Thursday (7/11): Ran 4 miles on the treadmill at the MUSC Wellness Center
Friday (7/12): Rest
Saturday (7/13): Today, we had planned to do a group run downtown; however, the remnants of Tropical Depression Chantel put a kink in that, so I had to run 8 miles on the treadmill this morning. This actually worked out great, because this morning I had to get up and make dining reservations for the Disney Marathon 2014 Week. I was able to get everything we desired, including the first time to the difficult to get, Be Our Guest Restaurant!
Sunday (7/14): My wife and I walked our dogs for 1.85 miles
Yearly Running Goal: 1000 Miles
Weekly Mileage: 22.05 Miles
Remaining to Goal: 537.68 Miles
I’m glad you got your reservations in! So sorry the group run didn’t work out, 8 miles downtown is pretty amazing route too, gotta love running in downtown Charleston. Hopefully next Saturday our weather will be better!
