Monday (12/16): No workout
Tuesday (12/17): 5 mile treadmill run at the MUSC Wellness Center
Wednesday (12/18): 4.35 mile run in downtown Charleston with my MUSC Pediatrics Running Group. This was our last run of 2013, so we made it a holiday run, and ran through Marion Square with all the Christmas lights, down King Street to see all the decorated storefronts, and finally by Colonial Lake to see the Christmas tree in the middle. Great run. 45 degrees.
Thursday (12/19): No workout
Friday (12/20): I had to do a long walk to work on simulating a back to back run in preparation for the Goofy Challenge in January. I walked 4.1 miles at lunch and then walked 4.5 more miles on the treadmill at home for a total of 8.6 miles.
Saturday (12/21): The last long run before the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend in 3 weeks! Luke and I ran 22 miles from The Cooper Room in Mount Pleasant around Patriot’s Point to Sullivan’s Island to Isle of Palms and back. It took us 3:53:42 at a 10:22 pace. It was a beautiful morning, with temperatures at the start around 54 degrees, and built to the upper 60s by the end.
