We are now less than a week away for the 2014 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. This year I will be doing the Goofy Challenge, so my packing list will be built upon these race events. Also, since we are only six hours away from Disney, we will be driving, so this guide will not address flight packing.
Expo Needs
- Signed race waiver
- Money… Lots & lots of money

Disney Specifics
- Resort, Dining, & FastPass+ Reservation Information – You can now use http://www.mydisneyexperience.com or the My Disney Experience App for your phone
- Magic Bands (If you are staying at Beach Club or Boardwalk Resorts you can wear this in the race, then walk through Epcot at the end of the race, because your pass to enter the park will be on it – no shuttle required!)
- Annual Passes
- Tables in Wonderland Card

This list will be never ending and will be continuously updated after each race. After a dozen races at Disney, this is close, but there is always room for improvements. If you have additions, post them in the comments. Also, be sure to search as many of us have packing lists posted, don’t stop at just one.
Good Luck Packing…. Safe Travels….Run Well…..
This is a great list! I’m saving it for when I finally make it to disney to race!
Thanks. Like I said in the post there are many out there, this is just things I have compiled. I always see other’s lists and see something new to add all the time.
Your list is great, and it reminds me that I should get moving on my own packing.
Thanks. Yep it will be here soon. Now I need to pack all my stuff for the parks!
Great list! Thanks for reminding me to print the waiver! I don’t think you need to print the course maps though because aren’t they in the program that you get at the expo? I thought they were.
The are in the program, just small in size for details.
