Well it is now upon us. This is the week of the Walt Disney World Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge. This was a taper week for me leading up to it; however, my legs have been really tired and sore from all the mileage I put in for December, so I have taken the week off. Nothing I do this week would help with the races this weekend, only hurt, so I decided to rest my legs.

Wednesday (1/8): No workout
Thursday (1/9): Traveled to Walt Disney World for Marathon Weekend – Walked around the parks and went to the race expo
Friday (1/10): Walt Disney World – Walked around the parks
Saturday (1/11): Walt Disney World Half Marathon (Recap next week)
Sunday (1/12): Walt Disney World Marathon (Recap next week)
2014 Yearly Running Goal: 900 Miles
Weekly Mileage: 39.79 Miles
Remaining to Goal: 848.18 Miles
