After taking last Saturday off, I got back on course this week. My leg (ITBS) is still sore, but seems to be getting better. I am just going to back off the hill training some to get it better before the Nashville Half Marathon in 3 weeks.
Monday (3/31): Ran 4 miles on the treadmill at the gym after taking almost a week off, leg felt a little better, but still sore, may lay off the hill training until I can shake this….
Tuesday (4/1): Walked for 30 minutes
Wednesday (4/2): I ran 3.35 miles with my MUSC running group. Not many showed up so I ran slower with my friend Karl, who is getting back to running. Running slower helped with the ITBS issue.
Thursday (4/3): NO workout
Friday (4/4): No workout
Saturday (4/5): I ran on the treadmill at home today because the Cooper River Bridge Run 10k took place today. I ran 10 miles. My wife did the bridge run again this year with friends. I did not do this race this year because of the crowds and poor corral management.
