Monday (7/7): No workout, still recovering from a long weekend of pyrotechnics
Tuesday (7/8): Ran 5 miles on the treadmill at the gym
Wednesday (7/9): Ran 4 miles with my MUSC running group in the morning, and walked 2 miles at the gym at lunch trying to break in my new running shoes
Thursday (7/10): No workout
Friday (7/11): No workout
Saturday (7/12): Today I ran 9 miles in Mt. Pleasant with Rachel, Tasha, Luke, & Dan. We were wondering if we were going to be able to get it in. As we drove over, it was lightening/thunder. When we got about 2 miles away from our start point the bottom fell out and it poured. We waited it out for 15 minutes, and ended up having an awesome run. Thanks for sticking it out everyone.

Hooray for getting your run in! I skipped today and just did spin instead. It was nasty here and I can only run maybe 4 miles or so right now, so I figured I could just wait until tomorrow. I was planning to run with Fleet Feet, and my friend said it didn’t rain on them, but it flooded out here in WA :(. Glad you are recovering from the fireworks!
Yep it was pouring on the bridge when I was headed to Mt. Pleasant and then stopped! I slept for 2 hours when I got home trying to catch up on sleep!
