This week, I start by being 6 weeks out from my next half marathon, the Disneyland Half Marathon in California, for my seventh state in my 50 by 50 Challenge. Training continues to go well.
Well here is a breakdown of my training for this week.
Monday (7/21): I ran 5 miles on the treadmill. I did the 5 mile boredom blaster.
Tuesday (7/22): 45 minutes on the elliptical at the gym
Wednesday (7/23): Ran 4.2 miles with my MUSC running group in the morning
Thursday (7/24): No workout
Friday (7/25): No workout
Saturday (7/26): We ran in Mt. Pleasant today for 9 miles. The group consisted of Dan, Dan’s friend Tom, & myself. It was a small group, and we were soaked at the end. The humidity was brutal today. We had some great conversations and enjoyed despite the heat.
