As this week comes to an end, I am now 3 weeks from going to California to run the Disneyland Half Marathon. The race is 3 weeks from tomorrow. 2 more full training weeks to go!
Monday (8/4): I ran 5 miles on the treadmill at the gym at lunch
Tuesday (8/5): For about the past month I have been having some low back pain, and been visiting my chiropractor frequently. She said I need to start stretching after my runs, which I typically don’t do. So, I went to the gym at lunch and stretched for a ful 45 minutes.
Wednesday (8/6): Ran 4.5 miles with my MUSC running group in the morning
Thursday (8/7): No workout
Friday (8/8): No workout
Saturday (8/9): Today, we ran 9 miles on the West Ashley Greenway with the TrySports running group. On top of their 10 or so runners, we had Dan, Rachel, Luke, and Mike. We went out to support my friend Amy to help build numbers to get TrySports to do more location training runs besides their IoP runs.
2014 Yearly Running Goal: 900 Miles
Weekly Mileage: 18.52 Miles
Remaining to Goal: 386.50 Miles
