Well it is back to the grind this week. I took the entire Week 36 off from training while we were in California. I still think I got training in through with all the walking in Disneyland, San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Did you know there were hills in San Francisco? Holy Cow!
Well I did update my 2014 Medal Rack for the Disneyland Half Marathon and Disney Coast to Coast Medals this week.
Monday (9/8): We took the red eye out of San Francisco and got back home Monday morning, so there was no workout on Monday, other than unpacking and sleeping!
Tuesday (9/9): No workout
Wednesday (9/10): Ran 4.1 miles with my MUSC running group in the morning
Thursday (9/11): No workout
Friday (9/12): No workout
Saturday (9/13): We all met at our normal spot and ran 8 miles today. We had 6 runners today, Rachel, Dan, Tasha, Sherman, myself, and a new runner to the group, Jay! Thanks for joining us Jay and we look forward to having you back. During the run, we ran around Patriot’s Point and the USS Yorktown. Also during the route, we ran by Tasha’s new house she just bought in the Old Village area. They still have to do a lot of work to it before they can move in, but we decided to stop for a photo anyways. This is going to be a great stop point for our runs for refills and bathroom! Yay!
