Monday (9/15): Typically, I run on the treadmill at the gym at lunch; however, when I got to the gym, I realized I had taken my Garmin shoe chip off during the trip and had not replaced it. So I decided to run outside. I had planned for 5 miles, but only managed 4.25 because it was so hot and humid at 81 degrees and 94% humidity. But I managed to get through it, just had to slow down quite a bit.
Tuesday (9/16): No workout, it was pouring rain at lunch today so I did not walk to the gym
Wednesday (9/17): Ran 4.25 miles with my MUSC running group in the morning
Thursday (9/18): No workout
Friday (9/19): No workout
Saturday (9/20): This morning, our crowd was small because of work and rain, but Dan and I endured. I met him at his house in Mt. Pleasant and we ran over to Sullivan’s Island and back. It drizzled on us a little bit, but it was a much nicer temperature than we have been fighting with over the summer. It was 70 degrees with 94% humidity, with a 6 mph N wind.

The rain actually held off for the race today! I was really surprised because the radar showed all the green from the rain but it didn’t rain on us. Trail was muddy, though.
Monday afternoon was super hot. I did speedwork and it was hard. I was also sweating a ton on Wednesday even though I just did an easy 3. Hopefully today is the start of cooler temps for all of us.
