It’s Birthday Week!!!! On Friday I will turn another year older. That makes 9 more years to complete my 50 by 50 Challenge of 50 half marathons in 50 states before I turn 50!
Monday (9/29): Ran 5 miles on the treadmill at the gym at lunch
Tuesday (9/30): Cross training workout at the gym
Wednesday (10/01): Ran 4 miles with my MUSC running group in the morning
Thursday (10/02): No workout
Friday (10/03): No workout – MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
Saturday (10/04): Today I did something strange. I did not run on Saturday. Since I had a combination of going out for my birthday on Friday and my running group not able to get together, I decided to take a me day and take the day off from running. I have only miss 5 runs on my training plan this year, so I think it’s ok. Back to the grind on Monday.
** As a note, I did register for the May 2015 Cincinnati Flying Pig Half Marathon this week. At the end of October I will register for the Indy 500 Half Marathon. I will be doing these two races as a back to back in May 2015 to knock out two states in a weekend.
