Monday (10/27): Ran 4 miles on the treadmill at the gym at lunch.
Tuesday (10/28): I am pleased to announce that I participated in my very first 1 hour YOGA class today at the gym. I survived! It wasn’t too bad. I was able to do most of the elements. Hopefully I can build on this each week and gain some more flexibility.
Wednesday (10/29): I ran 4 miles with my work group at 5:30am, then at lunch I followed up yesterday’s class with a Pilates course at lunch. Yesterday was my first ever yoga class, and today, my first Pilates course. I think I am going to like Pilates more than Yoga. I felt more worked today, than yesterday. However, after the Savannah Half Marathon next weekend, I will revisit the classes a few more times before deciding.
Thursday (10/30): No workout
Friday (10/31): No workout
Saturday (11/01): This morning, I ran 7.5 miles in Summerville with Dan & Luke. Man was it cold! 45 degrees with about a 10-15 mph wind, brrr for us! This was the last segment of the inaugural Summerville Sweet Tea Half Marathon that we will run in 2 weeks. This is going to be a nice course, and hope it goes well!
Next Saturday, State #8 will go down as I will be running the Savannah Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon in Savannah, GA!

Looks like you guys had a good run this morning! I ended up with 7 myself with the race, as I ran back down the course to cool down. I thought about you guys in the chilly weather because y’all started a lot earlier. Good luck with Savannah, I know you’ll do really well!
