Recovery Week… I decided to take this week easy before doing my 3rd half marathon in November, the Space Coast Half Marathon, next weekend.
Monday (11/17): No workout, recovery from the race.
Tuesday (11/18): Yoga at the gym at lunch
Wednesday (11/19): I ran 4 miles on the treadmill at the gym at lunch. We did not run as a group this morning, as it was around 25 degrees when we woke up.
Thursday (11/20): No workout
Friday (11/21): 2 mile walk at lunch with Michael. I then did a 1 mile run on the treadmill at home to test a pair of shoes that were sent to me to review. More to come on this in a week or so.
Saturday (11/22): Today I ran 4 miles on the Summerville Sawmill Branch Trail with Brooke, a friend from church who is starting to run. It was a little chilly at 35 degrees. She did great and has a good foundation to become an awesome runner. I challenged her to a half marathon this time next year. There it is Brooke, it is in writing now, so the gauntlet has been thrown!
