It is Taper week! The calm before the storm next week. 2 half marathons in 2 days, May 2-3. On Saturday, May 2nd I will be running in the OneAmerica 500 Festival Half Marathon (Indianapolis, IN), followed by the Cincinnati (OH) Flying Pig Half Marathon on Sunday, May 3rd.
Monday (4/20): No workout
Tuesday (4/21): No workout
Wednesday (4/22): I ran 4 miles with my MUSC running group at 5:30 AM at a 9:29 pace.
Thursday (4/23): No Workout
Friday (4/24): No Workout
Saturday (4/25): On Saturday we had a great turnout. We had 7 show up to run a taper 6 miler in Mt. Pleasant. The rains held off and it was somewhat cool for the run at 63 degrees. We averaged a 9:31 pace.
