It is Race week! The calm before the storm next week. 2 half marathons in 2 days, May 2-3. On Saturday, May 2nd I will be running in the OneAmerica 500 Festival Half Marathon (Indianapolis, IN), followed by the Cincinnati (OH) Flying Pig Half Marathon on Sunday, May 3rd.
Monday (4/27): I ran 4 miles around dowtown to the Battery and back, tried to run slower, but didn’t do a good job at it – 9:19 pace
Tuesday (4/28): No workout
Wednesday (4/29): I ran 4 miles with my MUSC running group at 5:30 AM at a 9:13 pace. We were shooting for a 9:45 – 10:00 taper pace, but about halfway, the rains cam and the bottom fell out on us, so we hastened the pace to get back!
Thursday (4/30): No Workout – Traveling
Friday (5/1): No Workout – Traveling
Saturday (5/2): OneAmerica 500 Fesitval Mini – Marathon, Indianapolis, IN – Race recap later this week
Sunday (5/3): Cincinnati Flying Pig Half Marathon, Cincinnati, OH – Race recap later this week
