Happy 3 year anniversary to DoombuggyRunner.com. I have made it three years with my blog. I hope you have found it informative and helpful.
Monday (8/3): I ran 5 miles on the treadmill at the gym at lunch. I averaged a 9:05 pace.
Tuesday (8/4): No workout
Wednesday (8/5): I ran 4.3 miles with my MUSC running group at 5:30 a.m. at a 9:26 pace. We did 30 second walk breaks on the miles to reboot.
Thursday (8/6): No workout
Friday (8/7): No workout
Saturday (8/8): We did an 8 mile run in downtown Charleston. We ran through The Citadel campus to see the damage from Thursday. On Thursday it was suspected that a micro-cell came through and knocked down trees. In the process, it knocked down a tree on the parade grounds that fell on one of the plane displays. You can see the damage in the pictures below.
We caught a break in the weather today. It was only about 73 degrees but still 90+% humidity still made it a little tough. We ended up a 9:59 pace.
