Well it was a busy week, so I didn’t get all my training runs I had hoped. However, after double tens last weekend, it couldn’t have fallen at a better time.
Monday (8/31): No Workout
Tuesday (9/1): No workout
Wednesday (9/2): I ran 4.2 miles with my 5:30 AM MUSC Running Group. We ran at a 9:40 pace, with a minute walk at each mile. It was still a little warm at 77 degrees, but 2 degrees cooler than last Wednesday! The little things….
Thursday (9/3): No workout
Friday (9/4): No workout
Saturday (9/5): We ran the islands on Saturday. We started in Mt. Pleasant and ran to Sullivan’s Island and back. Dan, Rachel, Aaron, and I ran 8 miles. We ran at a 9:45 pace with a temp of 72 degrees and 94% humidity.
After the run, Dan bought us Chocolate milk and apple fritters, so we sat and enjoyed the fellowship together as we cooled off. Hey Sohaskey, recognize the shirt? Everyone go to RaceRaves.com to track all your races!
