Well, let’s just say this week did not go as planned at the start of the week. By Thursday, we were in a flood comparable to Noah and the Ark! So needless to say, this week turned into more of a recovery week, as opposed to getting much running in.
We are now at 2 weeks until my next set of back to back half marathons. The races will be the weekend of October 17-18, where I will running the Baltimore, MD Half Marathon (Saturday) and Hershey, PA Half Marathon (Sunday).
Monday (9/28): No workout
Tuesday (9/29): No workout
Wednesday (9/30): I did the 5:30 AM run with my MUSC running group. We did 4 miles at a 9:03/mile pace.
Thursday (10/01): No workout – and the rains came….
Friday (10/02): No workout – and the rains continued….
Saturday (10/03): MY BIRTHDAY!!!! No workout – and the rains continued, worst day yet…….
