Well the training is done. This was my last week of training for next weekend’s back to back half marathons. I am taking off until the races to rest my legs some. They have been pretty sore lately. Next weekend’s races include the Baltimore, MD Half Marathon (Saturday) and Hershey, PA Half Marathon (Sunday).
Monday (10/5): No workout
Tuesday (10/6): 5 miles on the treadmill at the gym
Wednesday (10/7): I did the 5:30 AM run with my MUSC running group. We did 4 miles at a 9:03/mile pace.
Thursday (10/8): No workout
Friday (10/9): No workout
Saturday (10/10): Luke and I ran 8 miles in Mt. Pleasant. We started at the Mt. Pleasant Waterfront Park and ran to the Pitt Street Bridge, with a turn down the Shem Creek boardwalk along the way. We averaged a 9:39 pace. It was 68 degrees with 94% humidity.

I saw your truck in the park but didn’t see either of you guys. I ran bridge repeats today and the cooler temps helped but it was still crazy humid- then the sun came out! Glad you got the workouts in despite our crazy weather and good luck with the races next weekend.
Thanks, sorry we didn’t cross paths. Yes the humidity still generated the sweat! 😄. It’s so nice to run and not avoid puddles!
It’s cool- I pretty much went from my car to the bridge and over (a bunch of times), so that’s why we never saw each other). So glad the run was puddle free today- and we beat the rain.
