This week I had wanted to up my mileage some to help with the races coming up; however, the week did not allow for it. So I got my start 3 runs in this week. I have 2 more half marathons in November, the 2nd Annual Summerville Sweet Tea Half Marathon is next Saturday and the Space Coast Half Marathon at Cocoa Beach, Florida on November 29th.
Monday (11/2): I ran 5 miles on the treadmill at the Wellness Center. Pace average: 9:05
Tuesday (11/3): No workout
Wednesday (11/4): I was back to running with my morning MUSC run group at 5:30a. We ran 4 miles around downtown Charleston at a 9:16 pace.
Friday (11/6): No workout
Saturday (11/7): Saturday is normally when we get our long run in; however, I had to conduct a multi-church Lowcountry Awana Grand Prix. It was awesome to see all the cars the kids made to race. It was a great day.
Sunday (11/8): The group ran 9 miles on the Summerville Saw Mill Branch Trail. I was joined by Dan, E-Mack, & Weston. We averaged a 9:30 pace. It was a nice cool morning at 61 degrees, 72% humidity, & a slight drizzle.

Today’s run was so much better than yesterday’s… we ran at Sawmill yesterday and you should be glad you put it off a day! It was already 68 and 100% humidity at 6:45 on Saturday. Good luck at Sweet Tea!
