This is the middle week between half marathons. Next week I will run my last half marathon of 2015 with the Space Coast Half Marathon at Cocoa Beach, Florida on November 29th. As for this week, it was just a standard training week.
Monday (11/16): I ran 4 miles on the treadmill at the Wellness Center. Pace average: 9:13
Tuesday (11/17): No workout
Wednesday (11/18): I ran with my morning MUSC run group at 5:30a. We ran 4.6 miles around downtown Charleston at a 9:04 pace.
Friday (11/20): No workout
Saturday (11/21): Today was not my best day, but it was still a great run in downtown Charleston. I ran 8.3 miles with Dan & Renee. We visited some new streets that we had never run on before (Church Street & Legare Street – very beautiful streets). Also a part of the run was through The Citadel campus and around Hampton Park. We averaged a 9:28 pace, but I struggled most of the run. For some reason my legs did not want to cooperate. Very stiff and rigid. But I got through it. It was a nice morning in the low 50s which felt awesome.

Your legs are probably still feeling Sweet Tea, I know my legs were feeling my half all week long. At least we had a nice day to run yesterday (mine was pretty lackluster too). Good luck at Space Coast and hopefully no hot temps there either, I have heard last year was terrible.
