This was a pretty good week. I lost another 2.5 pounds (total of 8 pounds since January 1st). I also finally got my new office at work. I have been a nomad of office spaces for the last four months. It was worth it.
As of the end of this week, I will be a month out from the New Orleans Rock ‘n Roll Half Marathon.
Monday (1/25): I ran 5 miles on the treadmill at the Wellness Center. Pace average: 8:51
Tuesday (1/26): No workout
Wednesday (1/27): I ran 4.2 miles with my MUSC running group at 5:30 am. We averaged a 9:30 pace.
Thursday (1/28): No workout
Friday (1/29): No workout
Saturday (1/30): On Saturday, we had a men brigade of Dan, Mike, John, Sherman and myself.
We ran 12 miles in downtown Charleston. It started out chilly at 34 degrees but filled out nicely to the low 50s. We averaged a 9:59 pace. We passed our running buddy Renee several times, she was killing 14 miles in her marathon training.
It was a beautiful morning in Charleston.
