It was back to a normal running week for me. It was nice to get back in the groove again. As of the end of this training week, I will be six weeks out from the New Orleans Rock ‘n Roll Half Marathon.
Monday (1/11): No workout
Tuesday (1/12): I ran 5 miles on the treadmill at the Wellness Center. Pace average: 9:05
Wednesday (1/13): I ran 4.25 miles with my MUSC running group at 5:30 am. It was good to get back together with everyone after missing last week. We averaged a 9:21 pace.
Thursday (1/14): No workout
Friday (1/15): No workout
Saturday (1/16): Dan and I ran this morning. We met in Mt. Pleasant and ran to the islands of Sullivans Island and Isle of Palms for 11 miles. We averaged a 9:30 pace. It was a nice morning at 50 degrees. It was a quiet route this morning since the Charleston Marathon & Half Marathon was going on today.
