Another week of training in the books. As of the end of this week, we will be three weeks out from the New Orleans Rock ‘n Roll Half Marathon.
Monday (2/1): I ran 4 miles on the treadmill at the Wellness Center. Pace average: 8:16
Tuesday (2/2): No workout
Wednesday (2/3): I ran 4.25 miles with my MUSC running group at 5:30 am. We averaged a 8:55 pace.
Thursday (2/4): I was on the road most of the day, so I was low on getting my 10,000 steps on my FitBit. So, I did a 2.5 mile walk on the treadmill at the house while watching tv and hanging with our dogs.
Friday (2/5): No workout
Saturday (2/6): On Saturday, we were traveling back home for our niece’s beauty pageant, so I had to stay close to the house for the run. Emack and Weston came out and ran with me on the Summerville Sawmill Branch Trail. We ran 9 miles at a 9:45 pace. It was freezing at 32 degrees. After the 64 degree run on Wednesday this was not pleasant!
During the run, we observed something wierd looking as we were going along and could not figure out what it was…
As we got closer, we realized it was a four wheeler on it’s side. Someone obviously had a little too much fun on Friday night.
The fun things you see on your runs!
