This was an off week for me on training. I only got one run in after traveling back from Walt Disney World. After being burnt out from everything I decided to take a little break.
Monday (4/18): Walked around Walt Disney World and traveled home
Tuesday (4/19): No workout
Wednesday (4/20): No workout
Thursday (4/21): No workout
Friday (4/22): No workout
Saturday (4/23): I got back to pavement today. I have my next half marathon in Hastings, Minnesota in three weeks, and that has some hills. Well the only hill training in Charleston is the Arthur Ravenel Bridge. I met Dan, Luke, & Weston this morning and we ran over the bridge and back for a total of 7 miles. Because of work and other obligations we all agreed to start later at 10:30 AM, which dealt with more crowds on the bridge and warmer temperatures. It all worked out well though and we averaged a 9:33 pace.
