Monday (5/23): At lunch today I went and did an arms strength training workout with some coworkers. In the evening, I went over to Fleet Feet Summerville and ran 3 miles with them. We averaged an 8:49 pace.
Tuesday (5/24): At lunch I began my training for the Santa Fe Thunder Half Marathon in September. It is an all downhill half marathon, so I began some decline training on the treadmill. I ran 3 miles at a 2% decline at an 8:35 pace.
Wednesday (5/25): I finally got back together with my Wednesday morning MUSC running group. We ran 4.5 miles at a 9:35 pace.
Thursday (5/26): Walt Disney World
Friday (5/27): Walt Disney World
Saturday (5/28): On Saturday, while at Disney, I got up and got in a run. The first part of the trip we stayed at Disney’s Saratoga Spring Resort, so I ran around the resort, then over to Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney) for a total of 4 Miles. I ran at a 9:44 pace and it was warm at 72 degrees and 100% humidity.
After getting back to the resort, I decided to continue to walk, so our section of the resort was close to the Treehouse Villas, so I decided to walk over and check them out, since we have never stayed there. The walk totaled another 1.3 miles.
