Well it was back to the ground for training this week. As of Sunday, I am six weeks out from my next half marathon, the Little Rock Half Marathon in Arkansas.
Monday (1/16): I did a 3 mile recovery walk on the treadmill at the house after the Charleston Half Marathon.
Tuesday (1/17): I did a 4 mile run on the treadmill at the gym at lunch. I maintained an 8:41 pace.
Wednesday (1/18): I met up with my Wednesday morning MUSC Running Group at the Wellness Center at 5:30a and ran 4.25 miles. We averaged a 9:45 pace.
Friday (1/20): No workout
Saturday (1/21): I met up with my Saturday running group at the Publix on Ben Sawyer Blvd. in Mt. Pleasant and we did an 8 mile island run over to Sullivan’s Island and over to Breach Inlet & Isle of Palms. Luke, Dan, Mike, & Alyssa joined me. We were able to beat the heavy rain that is forecasted for today. We averaged a 9:45 pace.
2017 Yearly Running Goal: 1000 Miles
Weekly Mileage: 19.30 Miles
2017 Total Miles: 46.67 Miles

Looks like you recovered well from Charleston. Glad you guys were able to beat the rain… we did too. We ran the trail, but I do miss running out in Mt. Pleasant and running the bridge, too.
