I am now about 3 weeks away from the Little Rock, AR Half Marathon. This will be half marathon #34 & state #18.
Here is how the medal reveal was done for the Little Rock races. Hilarious!
Here was this past week’s training.
Monday (2/13): I did a new workout from Runner’s World. It was a 20 minute workout called the IronStrength Workout for Runners on DVD. It was intense.
Tuesday (2/14): I did a 5 mile rolling hills routine on the treadmill at the gym. The grades were 3% to 5%. Pace was 9:12.
Wednesday (2/15): I met up with my Wednesday morning MUSC Running Group at the Wellness Center at 5:30a and ran 4.2 miles. We averaged a 9:14 pace.
Thursday (2/16): No Workout.
Friday (2/17): No Workout.
Saturday (2/18): On Saturday, I met up with Tommy at the Summerville Sawmill Branch Trail. We ran a total of 10 miles. It was a beautiful morning for a run. We averaged a 9:56 pace.
2017 Yearly Running Goal: 1000 Miles
Weekly Mileage: 19.25 Miles
2017 Total Miles: 119.61 Miles
February Mileage: 48.97
January 2017 Mileage: 70.64
