Here is my week 14 training rundown for this week. It is get close to my next race, which will be super fun. It is the 2nd Annual Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend on April 22-23. I am doing the Dark Side Challenge, so I will be doing the 10K on Saturday morning and the Half Marathon on Sunday morning.
Here was this past week’s training.
Monday (4/3): I did some weight training at the gym with Jason at the gym at lunch. We did a 30 minutes arms workout.
Tuesday (4/4): At lunch Jason & I ran 3 miles at lunch around downtown.
Wednesday (4/5): I met up with my Wednesday morning group and ran 4.2 miles at 5:30a in downtown Charleston. We maintained a 9:25 pace.
Thursday (4/6): No Workout
Friday (4/7): No Workout.
Saturday (4/8): On Saturday I met up with Tommy & Dan at the Mt. Pleasant Waterfront Park. It was bridge weekend. We ran up and over the Arthur Ravenel Bridge and down to The Battery and back for a total of 10.25 miles at a 9:39 pace.
Later on Saturday, a friend of mine, Michael and our families organized and did a cupcake tour of downtown Charleston. We were able to visit 7 of the 10 stores that were on the list. Stay tuned later in the week for a review of the cupcake tour.
