On August 13, 2016, I had the opportunity to reveal the baby gender for the Grinnell’s via a fireworks show. They actually had the doctor’s office call me instead of them to report the results, so they would all be surprised together in a fireworks show. It was such an awesome event.
Here is a collage of pictures from various friends from our annual July 3rd fireworks show at our church, Northwood Baptist Church, North Charleston, SC.

On July 3, 2015 we did the firework show for my church, Northwood Baptist in North Charleston, SC. I made a previous post with pictures; however, this is the post we have been waiting for. We actually had a guy come out and film our shoot from a drone device. I was able to get the video yesterday, and it is posted below. For some reason, there is a 2:30 gap at the beginning, so the video should start at the 2:30 point. It is a long video at 38 minutes, so enjoy.
On Saturday, July 4, 2015, we partnered with Zambelli Fireworks to do a show for the City of Bamberg. My partner Mike Holbert, and his son Lance, and my friend Kevin (trainees) had a busy day. We had about 900 elements in this 1.3 Class B show which consisted of 24 cakes and 3″ to 5″ shells.
I was a great show. We really enjoyed working with Zambelli. We have worked with other companies in the past, and this was such a pleasant experience compared to our past experiences. Everything we could think of needing, they provided for us. I cannot wait to work with Zambelli again in the future.
Now Mike and I have been talking about getting the impressive Cobra 18R2 Firing System for a year now. Well when I pulled up to the shoot site, Mike told me he had a surprise for me. I inquired as to what it was, and he just told me to go open this big black tool box. When I open the box, it was like Christmas, he had got the Cobra 18R2 Firing System and 3 Modules. I can hardly wait to be using this for many years in the future!
Enjoy the remaining pictures.
Here is a video our friend Steve took, it was unfortunately sideways, but you will get the hint.
On Friday, July 3, 2015, my team and I put on the annual fireworks show at our church, Northwood Baptist, in North Charleston, SC. This show consisted of about 80 500 Gram Cakes, 140 2″ shells, and about 70 2″ comets. Below are some pictures and video from the show. I would like to thank Russ Mahaffey, Crystal McCall, Tommy & Skyler Connor, and other church members for the awesome photos and videos you will see below. We also had a drone flying over our show to record it. When I have that footage, I will make an update to the post to include this view.
Here is a slideshow of the pictures.
Here is a couple of videos:

On Saturday, October 25th, we held a fireworks show at the Highland Baptist Church in Orangeburg, SC. This was done at my firework partner, Mike’s church. The were having a Fall pig picking, and wanted us to do a fireworks show to end the evening. There were about 250 people in attendance for the show.
The show consisted of about 30-40 200 gram cakes, 40-50 500 gram cakes, and 200 2″ or less shells. Because it is Fall, and close to time change, we were able to shoot the show at around 7:30 PM. It was a 20 minute show. Because we were able to shoot earlier in the evening, that made for early clean up, and to get home and to bed at a reasonable hour.
If you have a desire to put on a fireworks show, contact me and we can quote you a price for your desires. My contact information is on the “About Me” page.
Here are some pictures from the show.
