UPDATE: Pay attention to the weather for Saturday, there is a 40% chance of rain in the morning from TD Chantel. Contact me in some way if you are planning to meet us to make sure I send you a text if we need to change plans on the fly Saturday morning.
This Saturday’s group run (July 13, 2013) will be 8 miles starting at 7AM at the MUSC Wellness Center. We will have varying skill levels, so we are going to run a 3:1 interval (run 3 minutes, walk 1 minute).
We will be meeting at the MUSC Wellness Center on Saturday, July 6th at 7AM to do a 6 mile run through downtown Charleston.
We will be taking it easy and doing the 4:1 intervals.

This Saturday we are going to run the West Ashley Greenway. We are going to start at 7am, and run to a max mileage of 8 miles.
Because we are getting into the heat of the summer, we will probably run a 4:1 interval to help endure and recover.

I typically organize a run every Saturday morning at various locations in the tri-county area, but it has been limited to a few people via a quick email. I thought I would start making a invitation post each week with the details, so if you would like to join, just comment on the blog post. Sometimes we will run as our small group, other times we may join other running groups I am friends with.
Here are the details for this week’s run:
Location: MUSC Wellness Center (45 Courtenay Drive Charleston, SC 29425)
Date & Time: Saturday, June 15th – 6 AM
Max Distance: 8 Miles
Details: We are going to do a slow 8 mile run while doing the Jeff Galloway 4:1 interval approach, where we will run for 4 minutes and walk for a minute. I may have someone joining us that is just starting to run, so we will have runners of all skill level. Get up an come join us. We can accommodate any mileage needs.
