Half Marathon State # 25 Half Marathon #46 |

Can you say HALFWAY!!!!! Half Marathon State #25 is now in the books! On Sunday, December 9, 2018, I ran the Mississippi Gulf Coast Half Marathon in Biloxi, Mississippi. The race was a point to point race along the beachfront from Gulfport to Biloxi. You could actually see the finish line 13 miles away it was so straight (well you could see the casino near the finish).

On Sunday, November 18, 2018, I ran the Williams Route 66 Half Marathon in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We have friends in Tulsa, OK so we were looking forward to spending some time catching up. We flew out on Saturday morning, and flew back home on Monday morning. Since our flight did not arrive until late Saturday afternoon, our friend went to the expo for me to get my race packet.

On Sunday, May 6, 2018 I ran in the Middlebury (VT) Maple Run Half Marathon. My wife and I did a quick flight up to Vermont on Saturday morning and returned Sunday evening after the race. We had to fly into Burlington, VT, which was about an hour drive to Middlebury where the race was. However, before heading to Middlebury, we decided to spend a few hours in Burlington. It was a nice scenic little town.

On October 21, 2017, State #21 would take me to Dover, Delaware for the Monster Mash Half Marathon. The weather for the race was perfect as it was in the upper 40s at the start and finished near the mid-50s, with humidity in the 85-90 percent range.
The Monster Mash Half Marathon is paired with a marathon as well, and is a great locally run event that covers most of Dover.
As stated above the weather was awesome for a half marathon. Here was the “Flat David” the night before the race.
