Last weekend, as a part of the Hershey Half Marathon, we had the opportunity to tour Hershey’s Chocolate World.
Here we are freezing our backsides off.
Chocolate World is a free venue, outside of Hershey Park. You can go anytime and get your chocolate!
They have so much chocolate.
The key element to Chocolate World is that has a free omin-mover ride that shows how Hershey develops their chocolate.
So here is a video of the tour. It is a cheezy little ride, but quite informative.
Did you enjoy the singing cows?
Here is how Hershey’s Kisses are made.
Here were the production numbers on the day we visited.
Chocolate World also has a food court and very large gift store. Among the other things you can do here.
You can even sign up and pay to invent your own chocolate candy bar.
It was a great visit. It was packed on the day we went, simply for the fact that it was cold and rainy outside. My friend Chris, goes often, and says he had never seen it as crowded as the day we went. So I recommend this if you are in the Hershey area. You should allow about an hour to take it all in.
